Why Is The X-ray At The Start Of Tv Programme Scrubs Back To Front? The Heart Is On The Wrong Side.?

I find a lot of mistakes like that on different shows. I remember an episode of Law & Order where the medical examiner is showing an x-ray of a wrist and says something about “nine metacarpal bones of the wrist” – um no, there are 8, and they are called carpals. Drives me nuts :)

    My guess is that they planned it that way.
    The show doesn’t take itself seriously. And it was probably meant to be humorous.

    in the opening credits for the episode titled “my urologist” where they introduce dr. briggs after they put the x-ray up (backwards) she comes in and turns it around and says it’s been bugging her for a long time. so it’s obviously something they did intentionally.
