		<description>Well, I don&#039;t think its necessary to have a Radiologic Technologist degree first because that and Sonography have nothing really in common except they are both imaging the body.  Sonographer jobs are much easier to find, as the Radiologic Technologist field is too saturated at this point, and many new grads cannot find jobs.    If the school is on this list, it is accredited by the ARRT.  The ARRT is the main registry for Sonographers and almost all places require that you are ARRT registered.http://www.arrt.com/index.html?content=h…</description>

		<description>The Sonographer programs are harder to get into simply because there are fewer programs and they take such a limited number of people. I would suggest starting in Radiology. There is a demand for both jobs. </description>
