uhhhhh what type of radiation if youre talking about cancer it can do just as much harm as good
ok in what you are refering too it is used in sometypes of cancers that may not respond to chemottheyrapy. It can cause the tumors(some) to shrink. the major downside is that radiation is not selective in the tissues it kills (neither is chemotherapy) and it will kill good tissue as well often times people undergoing it will suffer from skin burns that are impossible to hide.
If you are refering to it in the case of senator Kenedy It may not do him any good Glioma is verry aggressive and often times is untreatable
