]]> So yesterday I worked my tell off (Radiology) because we were super busy. I barely had time to order a pizza from Dominoes. So I ordered a large pepperoni and extra cheese. I had like four slices left which I had intended to eat today for lunch or so I thought? ( o _ 0 )

I put my name on the box in bold black magic marker and stuck it in the refrigerator. This was midnight. Today as soon as I get to work I’m off and running. Again I barely have enough time to eat. So finally I get a break and head to the frig. I open the box and there’s only one slice?! ( o _ 0 ) I’m like “WHAT?! @!$*& WHO THE !@#$&* ATE MY SLICES?!

I’m still ticked! ( o _ 0 ) I was thinking of eating everything in the frig that didn’t belong to me! ( ^ _ ^ ) Dude. I’m still hungry!

]]> Hi.

As of now, my finances are screwed. I wanted to get them fixed but I don’t know where to start!

I’m 19, and already in ,000 in debt. With my current eviction, that number is only rising….

I was in a car accident, and I had no insurance. The person who hit me didn’t have any, either. He had been driving drunk on a suspended license. That totaled up to ,000 in medical expenses (who knew a CAT scan was ,000?) The other ,000 consists of late bills that I can’t pay off because of all the late fees, and an old bank account (which I’m trying to fight right now. I had already paid it, and threw away the receipts after 4 months, and who knew they’d call me back saying I didn’t pay? Assholes.)

This past week, I realized how bad it’s gotten after I had received an eviction notice, I had no money for gas (Let alone food. I went 3 days without it. Only upside is I lost 5 pounds xD) and the new place I was moving to was a 45 minute drive away. And I couldn’t get a loan for a truck because I was in too much debt.

I managed to sort everything out about the moving (luckily, my parents are letting me rent my room back for a month >.<) but I want to try and clean up everything else. I’m too damn young for this, and I’m tired of working and not being able to save any money for emergencies and school.

Where should I start?

P.S – Please note that I don’t have anyone to help me, and I mean it. Otherwise I would have at least had McDonald’s or something, along with a half a tank of gas. (Not being able to afford the Dollar Menu? Extra Poor.) So any advice to help me with my finances would be great :(

]]> I would like to go to a nice college and become an Ultrasound Tech. It’s something I’ve thought about doing for a long time. And I am now beginning my Junior year of High School, and there is little time left before I must choose a college to attend.

What type of schooling does this job require? And are there any schools in, or near, Michigan?

]]> I am a little bit confused, I want very badly to start back to college within the next year but the school advisor suggests that I have an idea of what career path I’d like to pursue. I have always been interested in both Radiology and Diagnostic Sonography. The community college I am going to attend has degrees for both. I have talked to several x ray technicians at the hospital and both have said its best to get a degree in Radiology before getting a degree in Diagnostic Sonography. A couple are now enrolled in the Sonography program. I really am leaning toward Sonography but the degree is new to the school just this year and I’m afraid it may not be accredited and that I would not be able to find a job after graduation. Is there a demand for both careers at the moment? Every website I’ve come across says there is but I just want to make sure I’m not getting myself into something that’s not so great a choice. Thank you for reading this, and for those who answer thank you in advance, your advice and opinions matter greatly to me!

]]> Right now, I am attending a pretty nice University. What I really want to become is an ultrasound tech, which I know you only need an associate’s degree to become. My Univeristy does not currently have a program for an associate’s degree in ultrasound, therefore, I would have to transfer to a community college.
However, I do not want to leave my current University because it is very prestigious, a great opportunity, and I have a FULL scholarship to attend there. Many people would be glad to take my place….
If I stay, and get a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health (on top of later getting an associates in ultrasound), would I be more likely to get higher paid job as an ultrasound tech?
Or should I just major in something completely different?
I am currently going to be a Junior this fall. Thanks!!
