I am 34 with a BS in Liberal Studies/Biology. I am thinking about switching careers, and I am highly interested in pursuing a career in the allied health field. I am particularly interested in nursing, nuclear medicine, sonography, and radiology (CAT scans and MRI). If you work in any of these professions, please tell why you chose that profession, pros/cons of job, beginning salaries, average salaries, opportunity for growth, any preferred medical specialities, as well as anything you wished you knew about the profession before you started, but have learned in the workplace or through experience. Need Serious College Advise . please help?

i planned on doing radiation therapy , so i took the pre courses required (2 years) did not do associates b/c i wnated to do bachelors straight. I did not get in this year so i thought about doing diagnostic ultrasound technician. but all they offer are associate courses. you have to do 2 years associate in ultrasound and then 2 more years for bachelors.

i already wasted 2 years trying to complete the prerequesistes for radiation therapy, what should i do . confused

i just cannt wait another year .. as i waited last year . .. no matter how much they say you havea better chance next year .. i wont he

i was so confident that i would get in that i didnt apply to any other school …

the application deadliens for most school has passed but semesster starts fall .. which is september.. do you think colleges might give me a chance

can you please name some other fields i can do bachelors in that are related with radiation therapy just so the past 2 1/2 years are not a waste …

when i visited the campus for vasulcar ultraousound and found out it was associate and that i had to do two more years just for associate it was a punch in the gut …

Need advice about serious auto accident in CA two weeks ago in which the at-fault driver had no insurance.?

1. Other car was south bound, lost control and crossed the 101 divider and hit my north bound car.
2. Other driver was killed instantly. He had no insurance and a suspended license. Police report hasn’t been released yet but driver may have been drunk. Insurance was cancelled in March when license was suspended. Does lien holder on car have any liablity? How do I find out if at-fault driver has assets?
3. I was the passenger in a friend’s car. I sustained minor injuries but spent a night in the hospital for testing and observation. Medical bills will be in excess of K between ambulance, ER, doctor bills, CAT scans, etc.
4. Friend’s insurance has k/k uninsured motorist coverage.
5. My auto insurance has 00 PIP and my underinsured policy may cover the additional difference. I’m in TX.
6. I don’t want to get stuck with this bill. Already, the hospital and ambulance company are calling and sending me bills.

Any advice on how to proceed.
