]]> i am intereseted in becoming a prenatal ultrasound technician(babies.. pregnant women etc.). it sounds like a great job until i was told that its a depressing job?? (i was told that you deal with cancer sometimes.. etc) can someone who works as an ultrasound technician with pregnancy please shed some light on your job and what the positives AND downsides of your job are. plus, what are the prerequisite requirements for prenatal ultrasound. i would really appreciate it. thank you.

]]> I graduated two years ago with a B.S. of Kinesiology and concentration in Exercise Science. I took many anatomy and physiology classes and am very familiar and comfortable with the anatomy of the human body. If I wanted to work as an MRI tech what would I have to do? I can’t find anything online that confirms the exact requirements. Also, what about working as an X-ray tech? Do these jobs require a special education? Or just passing an exam? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

]]> I know a high school diploma, but how many years of college? What courses will I have to take in college? How many degrees must I obtain?

Is there such a thing as an MRI doctor? Like for example, they tell the patients what is wrong with their X Rays and them, and then administer course of treatment.

If there is such a thing as an MRI Doctor, what is it called? I heard something that it could be related to a radiology doctor.

]]> I am interested in pursuing a career in Diagnostic Radiology. Unfortunately, I did not continue with my education after HS. Considering I do not have an AA, how many years of school/internships is required to become a Diagnostic Radiologist from start to finish? Also, from what I hear they have little patient contact. Do they discuss their findings with the patients at all or do they only discuss it with the patients doctor?
