A few things about me before you read… I am a 31 year old graphic designer who works at home on computer. I’ve never had any pre-existing condition, never sick or hospitalized, no anxiety or panic history or over-stressed, no medical conditions, no kids and happily married with our pup. The only issue I have is some minor sinus congestion sometimes. Please help I have seen many many docs and still no answer!

I was having severe jaw popping the day this all happened and had some drinks the night before… but that’s it and I’ve been told by every doc I’ve seen that those things would not cause this…

Here is what happened that day and is still happening 6 months later…
While home working in the afternoon, all of sudden this horrible rush came over my body from head toe and happened in an instant. Everything turned hazy white, body felt cold and tingling, hands severely shaking, legs weak, severe flushing in face till actually turned red and major pressure in head. I started to get scared so heart palps started, rapid heart beat, etc. Thought maybe it was because I hadn’t eaten a lot that day, so hubs came home with food (only works 5 min away) that didn’t help.Took blood pressure at home which was high for me (135/90) usually I’m at around 120/70. Still flushing and getting rushes through body – thing that scared me the most was the hazy white vision and constant rushing and flushing over and over again. Was not getting better so went to hospital. Hospital ran EKG and blood tests including thyroid blood test and everything was normal except mild heart palps. They gave me fluid and sent me home even though I was still having the same symptoms.

Went home and could barely do anything without having more attacks. I’m a tough girl, so I tried the next day cooking, doing stuff at the house, etc. but just kept having attacks so had to lay down. Visions was probably the worst because still hazy, but eyes seemed very strained and not-focused especially when looking afar. Withing that first week more symptoms appeared including more flushing attacks with sever head pressure like head was going to explode, slightly droopy eyelids, slight slurred speech, like I was slow (the first word that would come out would be slurred but the rest of the sentence was fine) but was talking slower. Had 24 hour headaches for 2 weeks straight. Other things that occurred in coming weeks were swimmer’s ear infection(never had before), white stool for a few days, ears always popping, heart racing, palps, weak, the biggest issue though was this constant vision problems where it seems like I can’t focus afar, or thing seem hazy, eyes straining – the best way to describe the feeling is it’s almost like I’m on drugs but I am not or haven’t taken anything since high school, not anything major though.

I received an eye exam, cardiac echo, heavy metal tests, thyroid blood test, every other blood test, 24 hour urine test, brain MRI, physical therapy(in case of a nerve issue in my neck) went to 2 neurologists who had no idea what it could be other than maybe panic attacks (but both neurologists said some of symptoms couldn’t be explained if it was panic attacks) But I have never have had issues with anxiety etc. and am not a stressed person and did not believe them. But I went anyway to therapist who specializes in anxiety and panic attacks who after weeks and weeks did NOT think I have any anxiety issues at all and pushes me to keep looking for a medical reason. Also went to eye doc says vision is 20/20 and he couldn’t see anything wrong.

After 2 months symptoms down by 50%. Am comfortable driving again most of the time – FINALLY. Still having headaches, light sensitivity, ear popping fell almost clogged, but mostly vision problems (especially when working a lot on computer) and weird feelings like my head is super sensitive, some heart palps, warm or minor rush feelings, also still have that weird feeling like I am on something but I’m not. Also still have weird feelings through entire body right before falling asleep and when I lay down I have pressure on the part of my head that I am laying on so I get uncomfortable. I would say I still have bad days twice a week. But the visions issues are ALWAYS there like I am NOT back to my normal self before all this happened. If I have a few drinks (I only drink maybe once a week) the next day my symptoms seem worse. After a few months of all tests being NORMAL I went on anti-anxiety meds as a last resort (also to prove to my and myself that that’s not what this is) and I was right. No changes for better or worse so am off the meds now. Anyway, it’s 6 months later now and I’m about 70-80% better than the 1st week but still not back to normal and I just want to feel myself again!

Please help me! I know that something is wrong I am very in tune with my body… and this all started with that first attack in
