]]> So I have a the choice of pursuing an associates degree to become a sonographer ultrasound technician or a medical assistant.

I would like to hear from some pros and cons of each job.

]]> i am interested in attending the medix school in GA to become a certified medical assistant. afterwards, i would like to go through the radiologic technology program offered at Grady Hospital. I just wanted to know if anyone has gone to medix school here in ga and whether they were able to find work after graduation? and for people that are RT’s, does this sound like a good track to take (becoming a CMA, and then getting certified as an RT). I think it would give my resume a boost that i have certification in both fields. i would ultimately like to become a ultrasound technologist. please no smart answers as this is a life choice i am making. thanks.
I’m sure there is work in this field, especially in Atlanta. I just want to know if having the medical assisting associate’s degree and becoming a radiologic tech will be a good career. my ultimate goal is to become registered in diagnostic medical sonography.
