Is It Possible To Become A Radiologist Assistant With A Nuclear Medicine Tech Degree?

I eventually want to become a Radiologist Assistant, but before that I have to go into a Radiography program (5 semesters) or Nuclear Medicine Tech program (4 semesters); either one is a prerequisite into the CT/MRI Tech program. Which one should I go into? Does it matter??

What Does A Radiology Technician Assistant Actually Do?

I’ve googled Radiology Technologist and Technician but I cannot find anything on what the Technician Assistant does. Are there any Assistants here?
Do assistants need any special kind of training? Certification? How do you like your job?
What is the salary like?
I am currently taking the prereqs for the Radiologic Technology program.
Thanks to anyone who answers.

I’m In Michigan. I’m A Unemployed Medical Assistant. I Want To Be A Ultrasound Tech. Is Pay And Jobs Good Now?

The industry is booming. Great time to jump in, and better pay than Radiology Tech. jobs! If you start off as an xray tech you can take a certification course to become an ultrasound tech. You’d be qualified to do both courses. More job security!
