A medical job is always worth considering, from nurses and surgeons right down to hospital cleaning staff. The site in the box below has some superb guidance on joining this laudable line of work. My brother got some superb guidance from there before getting a job as a medical admin assistant.

The correct title is Radiologic Technologist (“technician” is demeaning), and there aren’t any jobs because the schools are putting out too many graduates.
