AND what type of college for that BA degree? I know a lot of vocational schools like Kaplan and Heald offer it, but what about Universities or state colleges? Which one is better?

]]> ever since i became pregnant i have thought it would be amazing to go to school to be an ultrasound tech. i am 18 years old so i am at the right age to go into college. my baby is due at the beginning of april so i could start school at the normal time next year. what type of degree is it? i live in washington state, and i don’t have my GED YET, but i am planning on getting it once the baby is born [i had to quit school so i could work during my pregnancy]
i have looked up local collages that offer radiology and sonogram programs, but im not sure which one is which, i want to do mainly ultrasounds on pregnant woman, but i also want to do them on people who are not pregnant that need like abdominal ultrasounds and such.

any information on how to become an ultrasound tech helps! tips and advice are welcome and 10PTS to whoever gives me a good website first

thanks! also does anyone know if you can enter the program with just a GED or do you have to like take other classes before going to school for that?
i am not interested in being a nurse because i hate blood and that sort of thing. i like ultrasounds and x ray sounds like a good field also, but being a nurse would not be for me.
