Is The Radiology Tech. Program At Mary Washington Hospital Worth The Tuition Money?

I am interested in becoming a Radiology Technician, so I went online to look up schools that offered that program. One school said it would take 2 years, and cost almost $15,000.00!!! Then I found, Mary Washington Hospital (in Fredricksburg, Va) and they offer a program there and it’s only $3,500.00. I was wondering if anyone had and information about this, if so…PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

I can’t speak about that program specifically, but I can tell you that in my experience, you get the best training from a hospital program, and they are much cheaper. Mary Washington Hospital is accredited, which is a must. I suggest contacting the program director and ask about their first time registry-passing rate. The hospital program I went through has a 100% first time passing rate. If a program’s students can’t pass the registry, then you have to question the training.
The program director is Donna Carroll Van Norman, M.Ed., R.T.(R)(M)
