Im Thinking On Studying “radiologic Technology”, Can Anyone Give Me Some More Info?

I would like to know, preferably from people in the field, the following things:
-are the classes hard?
-how hard is it to get the certification from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists?
-how much an hour? how are the prospects for advancement within the field?
-how do you go on to get “trained/certified” to use MRI and CAT scan machines?
thanks

Yes, it is hard, but of course it’s doable as long as you apply yourself and study!
It’s actually the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) not the ASRT, and as long as you go through a good program, you should be able to pass without a problem.
Pay varies by location, but in southeast Michigan (where I live), starting is around $18-$20/hour.
You can advance into mammography, CT, MRI, and more. See here: https://www.asrt.org/content/aboutthepro…
After becoming a radiologic technologist, you can train on the job for CT and MRI.
