Radiology Help | Nuclear Medicine Technologist Schools | Ultrasound Technologist Schools | Radiology Technologist Schools

If I go to school for radiologic technician, coould i also get jobs for mri, ultrasound, and cat scan?

I wanna know if i would have to get special training to branch out into other fields of radiology.

MRI & CT Scan, yes. Ultrasound no. It’s too different…totally different degree program at college.

Once you are a registered radiologic technologist (not technician), you can cross train into CT, MRI, mammography, or cardiovascular-interventional radiography.

Ultrasound, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicine require additional schooling.
