I Want To Be A Radiology Technician. What Do I Need To Do?

I’ll be graduating from community college soon with a transfer degree. Are there universities that teach Radiology that I could get a bachelor’s degree in? Or should I just get a 2nd associates degree in it? Will it make a difference when I try to get employed?
Also, if you are a RT, do you like your job? Do you get to work with lots of people and become friends with your coworkers? What are your hours like? Do you ever wish you had gone into something else?

The correct title is Radiologic Technologist. Technician is demeaning. You can find all accredited radiography schools here: https://www.arrt.org/index.html?content=… A bachelors in this field is only necessary if you want to be a manager or teacher.
I like my job for the most part, but I wish I had gone into radiation therapy. I personally work a 40 hour week, but we are needed 24/7/365 so you could work any time. I have become friends with my coworkers.
Be aware that there aren’t any jobs right now. You may want to consider another area of radiology. More info: https://www.asrt.org/content/aboutthepro…
