I am wanting to get a Diagnostic Ultrasound License and need to go to school.?

I am in the Miami Florida area and want an accredited school that will not only give me a certificate but a license in this field as well. I would need financial aid and need to know how to go about this.

    No schools issue any occupational licenses. That is the perogative of the state. After completing your degree, you must apply to the state, sit the board exams, and if you pass, you can get your occupational license.

    As for financial aid, your parents need to complete the FAFSA to be submitted to the financial aid office where you are accepted for studies. Most community colleges have a 2-year radiologic technician program which includes ultrasound. Living at home with your parents, community college is not that expensive and between a part-time job and your parents, you should have no problem paying for school.
