How to become an ultrasound technician?

How is that whole job industry?
I am at a university right now.. Just getting generals but I am majoring in Psychology (I am a freshman)
How does the ultrasound technician job look? Does it have a good job outlook?
How much do they get paid?
How long does it to become one?
Salary?

an ultrasound technician (or any medical technician really) is a 2 year degree at a community college or trade school.

If your at a university, I would suggest staying there and maybe becoming pre-med, or nursning, or PA, or PT, etc…

ultrasound technicians are a good job, but they dont make much (maybe $30-50K).
