How much more do you make having MRI certification and CT after graduating as a radiologic technologist?

    At the hospital where I work the answer is zero. The hospital pays all RTs the same. This is not the industry standard however. The ASRT web site is a good web site.

    RadTech gave you a good link. With advanced licensing, in most places, you will make more money. In fact, more licenses almost always equals more salary, as you are more valuable to your employer…..

    For example, in California, the average yearly salaries are:

    RT: $71,063
    with CT: $73,835
    with MRI: $83,145

    In Alabama:

    RT: $43,196
    with CT: $45,854
    with MRI: $51,174
