How Much A Radiologist Or Mri Tech Make Yearly.?

I want to go to school for Radiologist or MRI Tech very soon… I want to know from someone that is working in this field if is worth my time or not….thanks.

    I think you are actually asking about the salary for a radiologic technologist (the correct term for an x-ray tech), not a radiologist. A radiologist is a medical doctor, who has attended and graduated from medical school.
    The American Society of Radiologic Technologists just did a large salary survey, in 2007. The salary varies, depending on your experience, specialties and geographical area.     For example:
    In Alabama, the yearly mean salary for a RT was $43,196. For a RT with additional licensing in MRI, it was $51,174.
    In California, the yearly mean salary for a RT was $71,063. For a RT, with additional licensing in MRI, it was $83,145.
    You will have to decide for yourself if this income can support your financial needs…..

    Radiologist is a doctor so they make around $500,000 anually
    MRI techs start out at around $50,000 anually
    A Radiologic technologist starts out at around $45,000 anually, it varies to the area

    my friend is a radiologist and she makes as much as a register nurse in my area they make between $25-$35 dollars staring pay
