How can I become an MRI Technician?

I am starting my senior year in high school currently and I am interested in become an MRI Tech. I have heard about a 2 year program to become one but I doubt its that easy to become an MRI Technician. Can anyone please assist me with this?

What and how much education would I need?

What else would I have to do after college?

How much is ones salary?

And I greatly appreciate any help I can get, Thanks!

Formal training programs in radiography range in length from 1 to 4 years and lead to a certificate, an associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree. Two-year associate degree programs are most prevalent.

After college apply to jobs and wait to get one in your field.

Salaries typically start out at about 40 to 45k per year and go up to about 85k per year or more.
